Youth must move out of comfort zone and challenge themselves

Malaysian youth must move out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves to do better than what they had previously achieved for the nation said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
He expressed confidence that the nation's youth will be able to rise to the challenges ahead and succeed in doing good for the country.
"Ultimately, the success of a nation depends on the determination and ability of our youth to compete including their courage to try," he said at the reception to welcome home 21-year-old Malaysian pilot James Anthony Tan after his record breaking solo flight around the world on Tuesday.
He said Tan's achievement not only helped gained fame for the country but

also provide inspiration to other young Malaysians to strive harder for their goals.
Later at press conference, Tan said he dedicated his achievement to all Malaysians, in particular as a belated Mother's Day gift to his mother Olive Berverley who had been very supportive.
Tan received a hero's welcome at the TUDM Subang Airport after completing his 48-day solo journey around the world in his plane Helang One', a Cessna P210.
Tan, who began his '1Malaysia Around The World' mission on Mar 28 from Langkawi, Kedah, touch down at 4.30pm to a waiting reception comprising of representatives from several youth bodies, air force personnel and dignitaries. His feat earned Tan several records that include The Guinness Book of Records, World Record Academy and The Malaysia Book of Records for becoming the youngest Malaysian and Asean pilot to archive the gruelling feat.
He succeeded in completing two days ahead of the 48-day mission covering 39,083km in 20 countries and 30 stopovers.
